Collector's House
Austin, TX
This renovation consisted of sculpting new space, focusing light on surfaces, and playing with effects. The goal was to make the house into a gallery for the client's art collection and divided the rooms themselves into pictorial compositions.

Materiality
The black and white palette consists of two materials: plaster and the neutral dark tone of the ebonized wood floor.
The element that is the most consistent is natural light. Windows open to the surrounding forest providing additional color and depth to the rooms of the house.
